Veredus, the executive recruitment arm of outsourcing giant Capita, has made eight new hires as it launches new private sector practices to broaden its reach.

Russell Adam joins as head of asset & wealth management, formerly of Odgers and fellow search firm CTPartners, with Jim Paterson and Hannah Mayfield joining the division as a director and a consultant respectively, both moving from search firm Rochester Partnership.
Within energy, infrastructure and manufacturing, Aaron Webster also joins from Penna to head up the division, while Richard Beesley takes on the role of interim director of the division, joining from executive recruiter Odgers Berndtson.
Perry Evans, formerly of pharma search firm RSA Consulting, joins as director of the life sciences division.
In the telecoms, media and technology (TMT) division, the firm welcomes are head of TMT Damian Brown, previously of HR firm Penna.
The transport sector practice has taken on Alex Warner, a director at the Royal Mail, who is being contracted through his own transport industry consultancy Flash Forward, as a consultant.
