Professional recruiter Goodman Masson has opened its first international base in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The Recruiter Fast 50 firm has appointed Jonas Buddenkotte, formerly a manager with recruiter Michael Page based in the same city, to lead the new office.

Chief executive officer Guy Hayward tells Recruiter the group currently does 95% of business in the London market, and has been preparing for the expansion since last summer.

He also says that further international expansion is in store for the company, after a period in recent years of entering new London-based finance markets.

Goodman Masson is shortlisted in two categories – Best Professional Services Recruitment Agency and Best Large Recruitment Agency to Work for – at the 2013 Recruiter Awards for Excellence, sponsored by Eploy.
