Wed, 8 May 2013Business advisory firm Deloitte has begun recruiting to build a team of software, testing and analytics specialists as it significantly expands its Belfast Technology Studio.
Currently employing two dozen staff, over the next three years the studio will create an additional 177 new roles, most of which are tailored to graduates and professionals with fewer than five years’ experience.
And a Belfast-based spokesperson for the firm confirms to Recruiter that the company will be recruiting “through various means”, which will include using recruitment agencies and hiring straight from universities.
The studio, which currently operates a technology consulting offering, will now create three new separate but related service areas: Deloitte Analytics, Deloitte Digital and Deloitte Testing Services.
Deloitte says it is looking for a “wide range of skills and experience”, including digital software engineers, systems integration engineers, and people with analytics and testing skills, which may come from a number of STEM backgrounds. All will need “an appreciation of the business value in harnessing insightful data”.
The move comes with the help of a £1.2m investment from economic development agency Invest Northern Ireland.
