Thu, 23 May 2013Executive recruiter Korn/Ferry International has launched an app it says allows companies to hand their staff the power to control their own personalised career development plan.

First showcased in the autumn, Forte is now being launched in full with a browser and iPad version.

Through the app, firms will be able to “discover how to accelerate your talent strategy to identify, engage and develop talent at all levels”, through what Korn/Ferry calls “self-driven career development”.

Korn/Ferry’s diversification of its offering saw it acquire leadership solutions consultancy PDI Ninth House in a deal agreed at the end of last year, and diversity, inclusion and development firm Global Novations in autumn 2012.

Earlier this week, UK IT recruiter Darwin also launched an app, aimed at candidates, in particular its contractor base.
