SouthWestern, a company that provides business process outsourcing services in Ireland, the UK and the rest of Europe, is creating 260 jobs.
Headquartered in Clonakilty in County Cork, Ireland, SouthWestern will recruit 100 new staff immediately and take on a further 160 over the next two years, bringing its workforce up to 1,100.
In addition, NuVasive, a medical device company based in San Diego in the US, has opened an international operations centre in Waterford, South-East Ireland, creating up to 30 highly-skilled jobs over the next two to three years.
The company has already begun hiring supply chain, customer service, accounting and IT roles.
