Mon, 15 Dec 2014International staffing group Empresaria has acquired a 75% stake in marketing recruitment consultants Ball and Hoolahan.
So far the deal, which is £1.5m in total, has seen Empresaria hand over £1m. The remaining £500k is contingent on the performance of Ball and Hoolahan for the financial year ending 31 March 2015. In the year ended 31 March 2014, Ball and Hoolahan generated revenue of £1.8m.
Ball and Hoolahan will be added to Empresaria’s Become group of companies, which specialise in the creative, media and digital sectors. This group currently operates out of London, Manchester, Sydney, Melbourne and Hong Kong.
Spencer Wreford, group finance director, told Recruiter: “Ball and Hoolahan operate in the marketing space. This is very similar and complementary to the Become group. The idea is that these will work together to cover a broader part of the sector.”
Wreford also said moves would be made to expand Ball and Hoolahan’s temp and freelance operations.
