FINANCIALS: Heidrick & Struggles posts increased revenues for 2014

International executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has seen revenues increase at both its American and European operations but fall away for its Asia-Pacific division, according its Q4 and annual results.

The results, published yesterday [24 February], reveal 2014 annual revenue from the group’s Americas operations rose 1.6% from $256.7m (£165.5m) to $260.8m year-on-year, while annual revenue from Europe jumped 21% from $90.4m to $108.9m.
However, revenue from the group’s Asia-Pacific division fell from $90.4m in 2013 to $89.7m in 2014.
Across the group, annual net revenue increased 7% to $494.2m in 2014 from $461.9m 2013, while Q4 net revenue was $121.3m from 118m in Q4 2013.
Annual adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) rose to $48.9m from $39.7m in 2013, while Q4 adjusted EBITDA also increased to $9.5m from $7.4m Q4 2013.
Supporting the firm’s growth in Europe is IT expert Tim Lüdke, who has joined the firm as a partner in the Munich office. He was most recently a partner at Xellento, a Munich-based executive search firm.
