Hudson Global appoints Nolan to succeed Marquez as CEO in May
Former Adecco North America chief financial officer Stephen Nolan has been appointed Hudson Global’s new chief executive.
Nolan, previously executive vice president and CFO at Hudson, will succeed Manuel Marquez when his contract expires on 12 May 2015 at the New York-headquartered international professional staffing specialist.
He will continue as CFO until a successor is named. Marquez will also step down from the company’s board of directors, with independent director David Offensend becoming chairman of the board at that time.
Commenting on the new CEO’s appointment, Offensend said in a statement Nolan had been an integral member of the firm’s senior management team and had been influential in leading the review and restructuring of the firm’s operations to drive efficiencies and cost savings.
Year-end 2014 results revealed the company incurred restructuring costs of $3.8m (£2.54m) over the whole year, including $1.8m in Q4 alone.
Nolan joined Hudson in 2013 and was CFO at Adecco North America from 2004 to 2012.
