Matt Nudds has been appointed managing director of Purple Consultancy, 10 years after joining the specialist marketing recruiter as a recruitment consultant.

Nudds’ promotion means that Toby Thwaites, who founded Purple in 2000, is now taking on a formalised role of founder and chief executive in what a company statement called “making some conscious changes” to his existing role.
