Multi-sector recruiter Calibre Search has appointed consultants Sam Sykes and Elliot Barwick to strengthen its construction division.

Sykes, previously a divisional manager at construction, shopfitting and retail staffing specialist Compass Resourcing, will specialise in finding white-collar managerial and commercial personnel.

Barwick, who was a consultant at recruitment consultancy, training and managed services provider Eden Brown, joins Calibre as the team's dedicated construction contracting consultant, supplying both contract and permanent professionals including managers, surveyors, planners and directors.

Both new consultants are based in Leeds.
