Charterhouse Medical smashes Spider-Man record down under

Australian healthcare and medical recruiter Charterhouse Medical has broken the record for the most Spider-Men assembled in one place.

Australian healthcare and medical recruiter Charterhouse Medical has broken the record for the most Spider-Men assembled in one place.

Australian newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald reports the unofficial count of 440 breaks the previous record of 398.

According to Brooke Murray from the Sydney-based firm, the idea came from a similar event held by UK recruiter Goodman Masson. In August 2014, the City of London financial recruitment specialist gathered 280 Peter Pans in one place, breaking the world record.

The event down under, which took place earlier today, was held in aid of Life Education, an organisation that provides drug and health education for children and young adults.

Charterhouse supplied the costumes to make sure participants complied with world record rules. Well, no one likes a DIY Spider-Man costume, do they?
