International HR consulting group Penna Consulting has acquired recruitment advertising and communications business Career Café, trading as 360 Degrees Advertising and 360 Education.

In a statement announcing the acquisition, Penna said the deal would further strengthen its presence in the higher education marketplace and support ongoing commercial sector growth. Roger Juniper, chief executive of 360, now joins Penna to support the transition and merger.

Meanwhile, Penna has also entered into a marketing arrangement with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), the accountancy body for the public services providing education and training in accountancy and financial management. The deal will see the two joins forces to provide finance professionals for organisations in the public sector.
