Set to stun: Zooz issues Klingon job ads

In an effort to boldly go where no other recruiter has gone before, Israeli financial technology start-up firm Zooz has decided to distribute job ads entirely in Klingon.
According to Times of Israel, the firm distributed the vacancy notices written entirely in the alien language – popularized by television and film series Star Trek – as posters and flyers around Tel Aviv.
Although the move may limit the available talent pool, Zooz marketing director and recruitment campaign manager Abi Solomon, is unfazed and insisted the move is no warped marketing stunt.
“We decided to do this because we are looking for talent that really thinks differently,” an energised Solomon said.
Solomon claimed any enterprising candidate who can understand Klingon will be well placed to crack the complicated programming code Zooz uses for its online platform to help merchants process credit card payments.
“The pursuit of good talent is very difficult in our market, and we believe that the challenge we are presenting – and the prospect of working with a company that sponsors such a campaign – will attract the kind of people we are looking for.”
The company is recruiting for 100 tech and sales roles.
