New Zealand sees job increases across the board

New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment’s latest monthly Jobs Online report shows an increase in jobs across all industry groups and most geographical regions.

The November data shows the largest increase in advertised jobs came from the hospitality & tourism, and accounting, HR, legal and admin industries, both up 1.7%.

The Auckland region saw the largest increase (up 2.4%). The Manawatu-Wanganui/Taranaki region had the only decrease (down 0.6%).

The overall job vacancies index rose by 2%, seasonally adjusted and based on a reading of 100 in May 2007.
