St Albans-based Berry Recruitment Group has acquired London-based office support staff recruiter Amanda Smith Recruitment for an undisclosed sum.

St Albans-based Berry Recruitment Group has acquired London-based office support staff recruiter Amanda Smith Recruitment for an undisclosed sum. 

Founder Smith remains with the business, working alongside Berry’s existing management team. 

Amanda Smith Recruitment was advised by a team from Ryecroft Glenton Corporate Finance, led by partner Carl Swansbury and with support from colleagues Alex Simpson, Peter Glenton and Charlie Burton.

Swinburne Maddison, led by partner Martyn Tennant, with support from Mike Ward and David Low, provided legal advice. 

Berry Recruitment Group was advised by Sherrards Solicitors’ partner and head of corporate and commercial, Jean-Paul Da Costa. Financial expertise was provided by Berry Recruitment Group’s in-house finance team.

Ryecroft Glenton Corporate Finance had advised on the sale of Wild Recruitment to the Berry group in 2011.

Cheshire-headquartered Gap Personnel acquired by Rcapital

Cheshire-headquartered recruitment agency Gap Personnel has been acquired by Rcapital in a corporate carve-out.
