Irish recruiter Cpl Resources has seen year-on-year revenue increase 12% for the half year ended 31 December 2015.

The results, published yesterday, reveal revenues increased from €193.2m (£147.5m) to €216.3m, while gross profit increased from €28.2m to €33.9m over the period.

The group’s revenue include four months trading from Clinical Professionals. Cpl Resources acquired the pharmaceutical and life science staffing specialist last September.

Meanwhile, year-on-year net fee income for permanent placements increased from €11.1m to €13.6m and from €17m to €20.3m for temporary and contract placements.

The group also announced director Garret Roche has stepped down from the board, while chief financial officer Mark Buckley joins the board.
