FINANCIALS: Kelly Services reports increase in Q4 revenues

Recruitment giant Kelly Services has reported a 9% annual increase in Q4 revenues, according to results for the fourth quarter and full year 2017.

The results, released yesterday, reveal revenue for Q4 2017 of $1.4bn (£990m), up 9%, or 7.3% in constant currency, on the same quarter of 2016, with full-year revenue of $5.4bn, up 1.9% or 1.3% in constant currency, compared to the previous year.

Meanwhile, the group posted earnings from operations for Q4 2017 of $28.4m, compared to $19.8m in Q4 2016 and earnings from operations for the full year of $83.3m, compared to $63.2m in 2016.

Reflecting on the results, Kelly president and CEO George Corona said: “Our fourth quarter performance reinforces that 2017 was a successful year of focus and acceleration for Kelly. We created and carried strong momentum through all four quarters, grew the top line, improved our GP and conversion rate, and increased our earnings from operations by 32% over last year – all while accelerating investments that position Kelly for long-term growth.”
