Recruiters slam FTSE firms’ excuses over women board appointments

Recruiters have slammed excuses offered up by bosses for not appointing women to FTSE 350 company boards.
Today the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy released some of the top excuses provided by FTSE 350 chairs and CEOs for not appointing women to board level positions. The excuses were heard by the Hampton-Alexander Review – a government-backed review into increasing the number of women in senior positions at FTSE 350 companies.
