CONTRACTS: 20-24 AUGUST 2018

This week’s contracts include: Barker Ross, Fircroft, Job.com, Good&Co, Rotageek, totaljobs, ZRG Partners

• Construction firm Berkeley Modular has appointed Leicester-based construction staffing specialist Barker Ross to recruit 140-145 roles in the firm’s new factory.

The move follows Berkeley Modular, the volumetric modular construction arm of Berkeley Group, starting works on its purpose-built modular homes manufacturing facility.

Roles include quantity surveyors, supply chain managers, design engineers, production operatives, project managers, facilities managers and quality engineers, as well as plumbers, electricians and carpenters, and roles in administration, HR and finance.

As part of its partnership with Berkeley Modular, Barker Ross has now opened a dedicated office in Dartford to recruit for the new state-of-the-art facility. It will also lease an office at the 10-acre factory site in Ebbsfleet.

• Sheffield firm Brew Social has been brought onboard by global recruiter Fircroft to help with the creation and promotion of its content.

Brew Social will be working with Fircroft to create and amplify content through paid social and social media influencers, with the aim of converting more potential candidates.

• Company resource provider Company.com has announced that it will offer Job.com's blockchain-powered recruitment service to its users.

Job.com has also announced plans to launch its minimum viable product (MVP) by early September. On this new platform, Job Tokens will incentivise various user actions throughout the job search process. For example, going for interviews, and in the near future getting a CV verified or recommending friends to the platform, will all earn users a select amount of Job Tokens. Users will also benefit by receiving a 5% of their agreed salary in Job Tokens on signing for a new job and passing their probation period.

Rotageek, a provider of cloud-based data-driven scheduling technology, has secured a £4m investment, led by venture capital firm Mobeus.

The funds will help Rotageek continue to develop its data-driven solutions to help multi-site businesses more accurately predict customer demand, schedule staff and improve operational efficiency. In addition, Rotageek will recruit experienced specialists in development, engineering and customer service to support the company as it continues to scale up.

• Job board totaljobs is integrating with candidate personality and company culture matching platform Good&Co.

The two StepStone-owned companies are now fully integrated, meaning employers advertising on totaljobs are able to ask applicants to complete a psychometric test before interviewing them.

• Executive search firm ZRG Partners has signed a collaboration with Hangzhou Expo to provide leadership and people solutions to the organisation.

The project covers conventions, exhibition halls, hotels and office buildings with more than 2,000 employees.
