Concilium Search gets funding from Lloyds Bank to expand internationally

Life sciences recruitment firm Concilium Search has secured a seven-figure funding package from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking to expand its international footprint and help double turnover over the next year.

The City of London headquartered agency, which also has offices in New York and Amsterdam, specialises in the permanent and contract recruitment across life sciences, industrials, IT and management consulting.

Established in 2015, the company increased its turnover by 55% from £7.5m in 2017 to £11.6m in 2018 and plans to double its turnover again to over £19m this year.

The seven-figure funding package forms part of Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking’s commitment to deliver £2.6bn to firms in the capital in 2019, while Concilium says the funding will enable it to support its cashflow as it grows the global presence of the business.
