Seagate creates jobs in Derry

Data storage company Seagate is creating 25 highly skilled jobs as a result of a £47m investment in a research & development project at its Londonderry factory.
The BBC reports the project will focus on nanophotonics – the generation and manipulation of tiny points of light – and will be supported with a grant of around £10m from regional development agency Invest NI.
