UK-headquartered firm creates global jobs with new Centres of Excellence

Nottingham-based, global software firm Ideagen is creating more than 120 jobs with the launch of several ‘Centre of Excellence’ (CoE) functions.
As Ideagen seeks to strengthen its position in the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software market, the plans will see 124 new jobs created globally, with over 40 new roles across the UK, within its headquarters in Nottingham and its Scottish function in East Kilbride, near Glasgow.
Two new offices are also being launched, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and in Raleigh, North Carolina in the US.
Ideagen’s Kuala Lumpa site will become a technology-focused CoE, with 70 new roles being created initially, while the company’s new Raleigh office will create 12 new jobs in the first phase of the project
Ideagen also plans to centralise specific functions across its sites, with its Nottingham HQ becoming home to its finance & operations, people & culture, sales, learning & development, research & development and user experience teams, as well as other aspects of technical services, training, elements of software development and IT. Some key members of Ideagen’s board will also be based there.
Ideagen’s first-line customer support, marketing, legal, products and service delivery teams will be centralised in East Kilbride, along with some aspects of technical services, sales and IT.
Kuala Lumpur will be the company’s new technology-focused CoE housing software development, test and cyber security professionals.
Meanwhile, Raleigh will become the US-arm of Ideagen, replicating the company’s global operations housing sales, marketing, finance, technology, support and customer success teams serving the US market.
