US firm to create jobs with new software engineering centre

US software firm ESO is to create 120 jobs in Belfast.

The BBC reports the Texas-based firm, which sells software tools and products to emergency services and hospitals in North America, is planning to establish an engineering centre in the city.

Regional development agency Invest NI said the new jobs across software, engineering, HR and operations will have average salaries of almost £40k.

Invest NI has offered the company £780k towards creating the jobs over the next three years.
