Lord Sugar invests in Apprentice runner-up Allen-Horton’s Harper Fox Partners

It’s Number Four for Lord Sugar – the fourth recruitment business in his portfolio of companies – with today’s announcement that he has invested in Harper Fox Partners.
Harper Fox Partners is the recruitment business of Scarlett Allen-Horton, a finalist on the 2019 edition of BBC TV’s The Apprentice, and a close runner-up to eventual winner Carina Lepore.
Harper Fox offers senior leadership talent and diverse executive recruitment solutions for the UK and international engineering and manufacturing industries.
The announcement describes the company as “a new generation of transparent, forward-thinking search, formulated to elevate quality recruitment methods, passionate about diverse and inclusive talent attraction with a pinpoint focus in board composition, C-level, executive and director talent acquisition, leadership assessment and stand-alone talent advisory solutions. A green business equipped with radical talent solutions”.
Despite losing out to Lepore in The Apprentice final last December, in what was a close decision, Allen-Horton subsequently won the backing of Lord Sugar. His other recruitment businesses within the AMShold group of companies include: Hyper Recruitment Solutions (HRS), founded in 2012 by The Apprentice winner Ricky Martin; Right Time Recruitment, founded in 2017 by The Apprentice joint-winner James White; and Hernshead Recruitment, founded in 2019 by recruiter Tom Johnson.
