• New Directions Group has appointed Genevieve Nock as its new HR director. Nock has been director of people and business services within the recruitment industry for over 15 years, working across a number of sectors, including retail and business process outsourcing.

• Learning company  Pearson has appointed Ali Bebo as chief human resources officer (CHRO). Bebo will work with the board and management team to build a workforce strategy that accelerates Pearson’s cultural “transformation” and improves its business performance. Bebo brings more than 20 years of HR leadership experience, most recently as the CHRO for medical technology company Hologic.
