Insurance expert Mowatt has moved into the recruitment sector by joining ALS, led by Alex Dick and Rob Leonard.

With decades of experience in the insurance sector, Mowatt will be focused on accelerating the consultancy’s continued growth still further. A key element of the negotiated seven-figure investment will be to support the anticipated domestic and international expansion of the recruiter.

According to the company, his business expertise and investment will be instrumental in assisting the ALS team increase its existing 15 strong team to three figures, as well as achieve its projected profit target of eight figures over the next decade. The company also has plans to strengthen its offering in both the UK and overseas markets.

Commenting on his appointment, Mowatt said: “The entire ALS team has a strong can-do attitude with a solution-focused approach. Problem solving at its best – they will always find a way to get things done.”
