• Berry Recruitment has appointed Katy Thomas as its new regional manager across the South-West. With seven years’ experience at the company, Thomas will oversee the Cornwall, Devon and South Wales’ operations. She plans to grow the established branches in Truro, Exeter and Newport in turnover and headcount.

• SPG Resourcing has appointed Alex Arnot as its first non-executive director to support its growth plans. Arnot is a board adviser to more than 30 technology companies, and launched Founderz to help other business owners improve aspects of their business life.

• Talent strategy specialist Wilbury Stratton has appointed Tahir Akhtar as head of data and analytics. Akhtar will lead the data and analytics division team. He brings eight years of experience in data analysis and has worked as a process operations manager at GLG and a senior consultant in data analytics at FTI Consulting.
