This week’s appointments include: Acorn by Synergie, Baltimore Consulting, Gerald Eve, Realm Recruit

Acorn by Synergie has appointed Carla Powell as its new regional logistics manager for the North. Powell is experienced in the logistics industry regionally and will be working with clients and candidates in the North. She has more than 15 years’ recruitment experience and previously worked for Major Recruitment.

• Bristol-based recruitment firm Baltimore Consulting has appointed Ailidh Van Wyk to associate director of client engagement for education. Van Wyk will be responsible for driving sales and delivering service to both new and existing clients within the education division, announcing a redefined client engagement model for the recruiter.

• Property consultancy Gerald Eve has appointed Archie Hirson as head of recruitment. Hirson has 13 years of experience in real estate recruitment, specialising in senior-level sourcing and hiring of talent. He was previously director and head of talent acquisition at commercial property services firm Colliers.

• Altrincham-based recruitment consultancy Realm Recruit has made two new appointments. Jenny Vickerstaff joins as a senior consultant specialising in the recruitment of legal support staff across the North West. Vickerstaff has over 18 years of professional services recruitment experience and has spent the last five years focusing exclusively on recruiting for a variety of administrative and secretarial roles within law firms across the UK. Laura McColl Wilson joins as an associate consultant and will specialise in the recruitment of commercial insurance lawyers across the North West, Yorkshire and the West Midlands. Before joining Realm, she recruited in-house for Cheshire Police.
