• Baltimore Consulting has promoted Leah Overend to assistant director of sales. She joined the recruitment firm’s children’s social care division in 2018 and in 2023 won Recruiter’s Investing in Talent Award for Most Inspiring Team Leader. Overend will be supporting the business’s new director of sales Jordan Groves, in managing the company’s sales division and focusing on driving quality, customer experience, client engagement and utilising a more efficient central delivery model.
• Construction, engineering and manufacturing recruiter E3 Recruitment has made a number of internal promotions within its business. Callum Good is promoted from senior consultant to principal consultant in its general manufacturing division; Conor Wood moves from recruitment consultant to senior consultant in its general manufacturing division; Sam Travis is promoted from recruitment consultant to senior consultant in its construction materials and modular division; and finally Dan Edley moves from recruitment consultant to senior consultant in its construction materials and modular division.
• London-based job search engine WhatJobs.com has made a significant senior appointment to advance its US expansion efforts. Mary Johnson has joined as director of enterprise sales, bringing 16 years of experience from leading firms like Snagajob and JobGet. Her appointment coincides with WhatJobs’ introduction of AI-driven recruitment tools, designed to revolutionise hiring processes across the US. Alex Paterson, WhatJobs CEO, said: “Beyond her sales expertise, Mary has been instrumental in improving systems to streamline efficiency – something we’re excited to combine with our AI innovations.” Johnson’s extensive industry expertise and client-focused approach will play a pivotal role in delivering impactful recruitment campaigns nationwide, according to the company.
