US sports network NBC Sports will bring 450 new jobs to Stamford, Connecticut, reports the Hartford Courant newspaper.

Jobs with the sports network will pay on average $70k (£44k) a year and will be located in the former factory of Clairol hair dye.

Creative media firm Pink Squid has won a three year branding, marketing and communications contract working with private hospital group HCA International.

Alongside work with HCA’s recruitment functions, Pink Squid will be involved in the company’s human resources, learning and development, PR, events and internal communications departments.
