International IT recruiter Darwin Recruitment has chosen ITRIS as their specialist recruitment software provider.

Darwin director Daniel Mulholland says: “ITRIS was selected because it is a product that has been inspired by recruiters who understand the job. This provides Darwin with increased client and candidate satisfaction from a more efficient and targeted service.”

Multi-sector professional recruiter Twenty Recruitment Group has reported a “strong performance” in its results for H1 2010.

Insurance giant Aviva is working with headhunters to find a new chairman, according to an article in The Times today.

The firm is reported to have hired MWM Consulting and JCA Group to draw up a list of potential replacements for its current head Lord Sharman. Neither company was available to comment at the time of writing.

JobServe made a pre-tax loss of £5.8m in the year ended 30 September 2009, compared with a profit of £2.2m in 2008.

Healthcare recruiter Pinnacle Staffing Group has made a pre-tax loss of £5.68m, according to half-year results for the period ending 4 July 2010.   

The group’s results reveal:

Pertemps has reported a rise in profits to nearly £2m.

Profit rose to £1,939,000 in the 12 months to 31 December 2009. This compares with £1,726000 in 2008. 

Turnover was up slightly at £231,531,000 (2008: £225,991,000)

Kelly Services is banking on specialisation to build its business in Singapore.
