Global HR solutions provider Adecco Group has launched its 2016 Win4Youth charity fundraising programme.

Win4Youth, now in its seventh year, has raised more than €1.62m (£1.23m) for needy children and families through sports events involving Adecco employees, associates and clients.

This year, people will take part in triathlon disciplines (swimming, cycling or running) with the goal to collectively cover 3.5 million km. This will result in a group donation to nine foundations, supporting abandoned, orphaned or sick children, helping families from disadvantaged communities and assisting civilian victims of natural disasters, wars and economic collapse.

The foundations are:

• Bulgaria: SOS Children’s Villages

• Colombia: Fundación Carlos Portela Valdiri

• Greece: Make a wish

• Hungary: Bator Tabor

• Indonesia: Sumba Foundation

• Brazil: Associação Saúde Criança

• Serbia: Novak Djokovic Foundation

• Slovakia: TETIS s.r.o.

• Global Refugee Foundation: Premiere Urgence Internationale
