Woodland expands and creates new jobs in Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland-based manufacturing firm Woodland is creating 57 jobs as it plans to double its turnover.

The family business, located in Rasharkin in County Antrim, has invested almost £4m in a bid to establish itself as a major player in the bathroom and kitchen furniture market.

Regional development agency Invest NI has offered £471,624 towards the creation of the jobs, the upskilling of staff and development of Woodland’s Epicor resource planning software.

The new jobs, 30 of which are already in place, cover production operatives and roles in design, sales and IT.
