• Acorn by Synergie has appointed Victoria Holloway as its new regional sales director. Holloway has “extensive” experience in staffing and recruitment, having served as an on-site division director and national sales director. Her responsibilities at Acorn by Synergie will include leading sales growth as well as defining and implementing strategies for the managing services division.

• Global executive search firm Kingsley Gate has announced that Chris Coe and Paul Cashman have been appointed to help with the expansion of the firm’s global life sciences practice. Before joining Kingsley Gate, Coe was a senior client partner at Chaberton Partners, and previously he was executive vice president, Search at Talentmark. Cashman also joins from Chaberton Partners where he was global head of healthcare and life sciences. Additionally, Chiara Brega (principal) and Louise Wakefield (project manager) have been appointed to help support the life sciences practice.

• TAB, the real estate finance and investment house, has recruited Lianne Mason as its inaugural people manager, marking a significant moment in the company’s growth trajectory. In recent months, TAB has seen substantial growth, increasing its team from 32 to 39 professionals.

• The City Recruiter, a Manchester-based recruitment firm, has appointed Melissa Smart as head of operations and Danielle Finney as head of recruitment at the company’s new HQ in Cardinal House. Smart brings over 12 years of experience in recruitment, while Finney has stepped up from her previous talent acquisition manager role at the company and brings 14 years of recruitment experience.
