Financial recruiter Search Consultancy has appointed Robert McGougan as associate director.

McGougan joins from global finance recruiter Robert Half International and will be responsible for launching and rolling out Search’s new financial services division across Scotland.

Having initially joined as a recruitment consultant in 1977, Porter was promoted to senior level posts before buying the business with director Stuart McWilliam in 2007.

The Institute of Recruiters (IOR) has appointed Nigel Lewis as IOR’s director of member services.
