Retailers have experienced their worst December since 1995, according to new figures.

The figures, from the British Retail Consortium, show that like-for-like sales from the highstreet and online in December were down 3.3% on a year ago, while total sales dropped by 1.4%.

UK jobs aggregator Workcircle has expanded internationally with the launch of sites in the US, India, China, Hong Kong, Australia, the Gulf and Dubai.

The sites assist local jobseekers and UK jobseekers looking for work abroad and will use a pay-per-click model which enables advertisers to pay by performance in these new regions.
