Budget hotel chain Travelodge is on the look-out for 140 new staff following its recent acquisition of 52 Innkeeper’s Lodges.

Travelodge is now recruiting for 40 hotel managers and 100 entry level staff, such as receptionists, guest room cleaners and night porters.

Steel giant Corus is to recruit 60 steel workers at its Dalzell and Clydebridge plants.

Following an upturn in orders, Corus says it will require 11 workers in Dalzell and 49 at its nearby Clydebridge plant.
