Monahan will focus on permanent roles at the Watford-based firm that was founded less than six months ago.

Pub and restaurant chain Greene King, the owner of Hungry Horse and Loch Fyne Restaurants, will create 3,000 new jobs over the period 2012-14 as it plans to increase the number of outlets in its chain from 950 to 1,100.

The 150 new outlets will begin to open from the start of next year, with 1,000 jobs to be created in each of the three years of the expansion.

Luke Smith has been appointed specialist project management consultant at recruitment consultancy cer Financial.

Smith moves from insurance provider Admiral Group, where he had worked for three years.

Airline Emirates is due to create 8,500 new jobs in the coming two years, reports Emirates247.com.

Adel Al Redha, executive vice-president of the Emirates Group, says: “The company needs more than 8,500 employees, technicians, pilots and stewards to operate 50 new aircraft to be delivered in the next two years.”
